People believes in curse because is depending on their faith, if their faith are strong, then they will be not afraid of the curse

Joshua cursed the City of Jericho when it was destroyed saying that whoever would rebuild it would do so at the cost of his firstborn and youngest sons.......

"At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: "Cursed before the LORD is the man who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho:
"At the cost of his firstborn son
will he lay its foundations;
at the cost of his youngest

This curse was fulfilled thus......
