Old English Literature (kesusastraan Inggris lama) is the earliest period of English literature proven by the surviving literary works of the Old English. The famous works from such period, which was also known as Anglo-Saxon Literature, were Widsith (the list of kings of tribes and its story according to their role in history, including the story of Attila the Huns), epic poem, Beowulf (the story of warriors against the monster and its mother - it can be seen from an animated movie entitled 'Beowulf' in 2007) and The Seafarer, another poem. The period of Old English Literature was from the year of 450 - 1066 AD
